The progress on high temperature nitride based ceramic wave-transparent materials is reviewed. The mechanical, dielectric and thermal-physical properties of some types of nitride based ceramic wave-transparent materials are presented in detail and compared. The research trend of high temperature nitride based ceramic wave-transparent materials used on radome of top-speed missile is prospected.
