It is very important to describe the corrosion damage evolvement rule of the aircraft structure for assessing residual strength and life prediction. According to equivalent accelerated corrosion testing spectrum based on key environment data, the corrosion damage of accelerating corrosion testing for 7 d is equivalent to that of the field exposure for 1 a. The new aluminum alloy of the aircraft structure is acceleratedly tested for 11 a. Through KH-7700 3-D optical microscope, the corrosion damage is inspected and measured. By using corrosion depth c, breadth 2a, aspect ratio AR and Are-Box parameter AB, the corrosion damage morphology is described. The relationship among these parameters and the corrosion time is analyzed.
