设计了一种传输波长位于1550nm的空心布喇格(Bragg)少模光纤。该光纤纤芯为空气缺陷,包层由周期性分布的高低折射率材料构成,利用光子禁带效应导光,通过基于有限元法的COMSOL Multiphysics软件分析其模场分布、模式限制损耗和径向包层结构对光纤性能的影响。
In this paper a novel hollow Bragg few modes fiber with transmission wavelength at 1550 nm is designed. The core of this fiber is air, with its cladding consisting of periodic distribution of high and low refractive index materials. With the photonic band gap effect, this paper analyzes the effects of mode field distribution, the limit loss of modes and the radial cladding structure on the performance of the optical fiber by using COMSOL Multiphysics simulation tool through the finite element method.
