在系统梳理国内外地形起伏度研究的基础上,确立了陕西省人居环境评价背景下的地形起伏度定义及其计算公式,采用窗口分析等方法,以ArcGIS 9.3为软件平台,利用其强大的空间分析功能模块计算和提取了陕西省地形起伏度;从比例结构、空间分布和海拔高度特征3个方面系统分析了陕西省地形起伏度的分布规律及其与人口分布的相关性;依据不同区域的地形起伏度的变化情况,对陕西省人居环境的自然适宜性进行了评价.

英文摘要：

On the basis of systematically reviews the research background of domestic and foreign relief, this paper established the definition of relief and its calculation formula under the background of residential environment evaluation in Shaanxi Province. Then it adopts the window analysis method and the software of ArcGIS which own powerful spatial analysis modules to calculate and extract the relief of Shaanxi Province. After that, this paper roundly analyzed the distribution of terrain on the degree of Shaanxi Province and the correlation between it and population distributions from three aspects. And these three parts are the ratio of the structure, spatial distribution and altitude characteristics respectively. Furthermore, this paper evaluated the suitability of Shaanxi province natural living environment according to the change of different regions of relief.
