Founded in the late Qing Dynasty and as the first professional technological when the Chinese press was flourishing for the first time journal in China, Agricultural Journal made a series of breakthroughs in editing from the previous people＇s experiences. In the column of Agricultural News, a lot of distinguishing editing ideas and strategies were developed in the areas such as the headline＇s setting, reporting coverage, news material and reporting way, which played a vital role in the communication of agricultural news in the late Qing Dynasty and laid the marking foundation of Agricultural Journal in journal＇s history as well as agriculture＇s history.
