研究面向三角网格曲面数控加工的刀具路径设计,提出了一种基于刀具包络面的等残留高度刀具路径生成算法.该算法首先建立刀具运动刃口回转面的包络面方程,然后通过相邻轨迹刀具包络面求交得到残留曲线,并利用全局搜索和局部搜索两个步骤精确地计算残留高度值,据此判断当前刀位点是否满足等残留条件,若不满足则沿行距方向搜索等残留刀位点,最后进行加工干涉检查和处理.算例分析的结果表明,由本文的算法生成的刀具路径残留高度均匀,刀轨长度较短,无加工干涉,在保证加工精度的前提下,能够有效地提高加工效率.
A constant scallop-height tool path generation algorithm for triangular mesh surface based on the tool envelope surface is proposed.The algorithm firstly deduces the equation of tool envelope surface,and then the scallop curve can be obtained by the interaction calculation of the two neighboring envelope surfaces.Therefore,the accurate scallop-height can be calculated in the two steps of global searching and local searching.According to the result and the judgment criterion of the constant scallop-height tool path,the optimal CL point can be obtained.Finally,interference detection and processing is carried out for the current CL point.Experiment results indicate that the proposed algorithm is feasible.It can obtain constant scallop-height and shorter tool path without interference,and it can improve the quality and efficiency of machining.
