Based on the search result of corporate venture capital （CVC） in English journal database since 1979, this arti- cle presents a descriptive statistical analysis of year distribution, journal distribution, research methodology, theoretical founda- tion, research perspectives, research themes, etc. The main research works are also analyzed and summarized in such research themes as influencing factors for corporations to participate in CVC activities, management and operation of CVC, value - creation mechanism of CVC, etc. Finally, the limitations of these researches and the potential key directions in the future researches are discussed
