A newly recorded genus Protoribotritia Jacot,1938 of Oribotritiidae and a newly recorded species P.oligotricha Mrkel,1963 （Acari： Oribatida： Euphthiracaroidea） from China are reported.Morphological descriptions and illustrations are given.Specimens studied are deposited in the National Zoological Museum of China,Institute of Zoology,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing.
