In this paper, we reviewed the research on the cardiovascular pharmacological actions of tetrandrine in recent years, including anti-hypertension, anti-cardiac arrhythmia, anti-cardiac hypertrophy and anti-mycardial ischemia reperfusion injury, providing a theoretic reference for tetrandrine in the further development and clinical application.
