Based on the existing researches about innovation mode,this paper has taken 821 emerging enterprises in China as the research object and has reached the following conclusions：both exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation will have positive influence on innovation performance in emerging enterprises,while emerging enterprises simultaneously carry out the exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation will have a negative impact on the promotion of innovation performance;Under the background of open innovation,the vertical coupling relationships between the emerging enterprise and the industry value chain partners will positively affect the influence of exploratory innovation on innovation performance,and negative affect the influence of exploitative innovation on innovation performance;Market diversification positively affects the influence of the exploratory innovation on innovation performance,nevertheless,it has no significant effect on the relationship between the exploitative innovation and the innovation performance of the emerging enterprises.
