一个地区的发展离不开资源的利用与转化,发展水平最直接的体现是物质财富的积累程度.因此,可以从资源物化的角度,以物质积累程度来反映地区发展水平与潜力.为此,从基础设施水平和经济发展水平两方面构建MDI模型,以县域为单位,运用GIS技术和数理统计方法,得出了2001-2010年湖北省分县物质积累指数,并从时间和空间尺度上对湖北省物质积累状况及其原因进行了分析探讨.结果表明:2001—2010年,湖北省分县物质积累水平各等级的县域数量从低到高依次减少,成倒金字塔形;以111°E经线为界,呈现东高西低的格局,东西部发展水平差异明显;贫困县地区发展落后于全省平均水平.
Regional development is directly related to resources utilization and conversion, the level of material possession accumulation directly embodies the regional development. Thus, the degree and the potential of regional development can be evaluated from the perspective of resource conversion. Using the geographic information system(GIS) and mathematical statistic analysis, it calculated the substance accumulation index of each county of Hubei province since 2001-2010, discussed the situation from spatial and temporal scales and analyzed the reasons. The results showed that:the levels of substance accumulation in different counties are progressively less from low-level to high-level, like an inverted pyramid; The spatial distribution of material-based development was unbalanced, and it was much better in east of the 111 °E part of Hubei than that of western; the situation in a poverty-stricken area lag behind the average level of Hubei Province.
