A quick measuring system for soil water content and soil hardness was introduced in this paper. The system consists of dielectric sensor, pressure sensor and depth sensor, which can measure soil water content and soil hardness from 0mm to 500mm on profile simultaneously. The system is also integrated with GPS and GIS. It is easy to analyze the spatial distributions of soil parameters. The system could be applied to farm information management conveniently.
