FU Jin was born in 1968. She was graduated from Southeast University with Bachelor degree in 1990 and from Chongqing Univeristy with Master degree in 2004. Now she is an Ph.D. student in Chongqing University, and also works in Chongqing Power Company. Her research interests include the lightning protection of transmission lines. YANG Qing was born in 1981. He received the B. S degree and Ph.D. degree on electrical engineering in 2002 from North China Electri cal Power University and in 2006 from Chongqing University, China. He is now an associate professor in The State Key Laboratory of Power Transmission Equipment ＆ System Security and New Technology, Chongqing University. His major research interests include outdoor insulation in complex ambient conditions, electrie-field calculation and lightning protection. He is the author and coauthor of more than 20 journal and conference papers.
