The paper proposed a pedagogical mode to meet practical demands of physical education majors and some teaching methods to rectify their misunderstanding on the interrelatedness between theoretical knowledge and practical skills,and offered an explication on the relationship between the two through an analysis on their distinctions and relatedness,the unique features of the major and characteristics of social demands-oriented sports talents,and misunderstandings of current sports majors on the interrelatedness of the two points,aiming to lay a theoretical foundation for the cultivation of social-demanding professionals and promote the employment rate of these students.
