有限时域差分法可以利用有限差分方程对电磁波穿透墙体后的情况进行分析,获得墙体的透射系数。利用该计算结果,对超宽带穿墙雷达模型进行数学建模,构造出超宽带脉冲压缩穿墙雷达模型。采用仿真软件对该模型一维情况的发射接收过程进行仿真。结果表明,有限时域差分法可以很好地计算出透射系数,雷达回波通过脉冲压缩算法处理后,可以实现对目标的精确定位与识别,提高雷达系统的整体性能。
In traditional ultra-wideband through-wall radar system, the transmitter was the single-carrier frequency pulse signal with very large bandwidth, which limits its operating distance. The problem can be solved perfectly when the pulse compression algorithm is used to deal with the echo signal of ultra-wideband through-wall radar. Finite difference time domain method was used to analyze the performance of the electromagnetic wave penetrating the wall through the finite difference equation and get the wall's transmission coefficient. Using this result, the mathematical modeling of ultra-wideband through-wall radar described the model of ultra-wide band- width through--wall radar which is based on the pulse compression. The one-dimensional situation of the transmitting and receiving process in the model is simulated through the simulation software. The simulation results show the finite difference time domain method computed the transmission coefficient well. The radar system realized the accurate positioning and recognition of the object and the overall performance of the radar system was improved after dealing with the radar' s echo signal by the pulse compression.
