In this paper, one new species of genus Macrosteles Fieber, Macrosteles serrata sp. nov was de- scribed from China. This new species is similar to Macrosteles variata （Fall.）, but it can be distinguished from the latter by body small; aedeagal shaft with serrations at each side of base in lateral margin, at apical half with serrations in dorsal margin.
