A kind of security alarm system based on ARM9 and GPRS networks was designed.S3C2440 processor was taken as the control core,the image data captured by camera were compressed,and GSM module provided users with SMS and MMS to confirm.According to the situation,the consumer sent commands to control the PTZ or alarm,achieving real-time monitoring on-site.Experimental results show the stability of image acquisition and the effect is good.It has high practical prospects.
