Three Gorges folk sports culture is shaped by the distinctive natural environment and the multi-nationality social environment in this area. Its peculiar functions will ceaselessly promote the cultural development and the nation-wide body-building campaign in Three Gorges region. This paper, based on documents, interviews with experts, field trips, logical analyses, etc., explores the special humanistic geographical environments and the folk sports cultural recourses.
