A interesting supermolecule compound of {PMo_(12)} modified by benzimidazole has been hydrothermally synthesized:(H_2biz)_2(Hbiz)[PMo_(12)O_(40)]·2H_2O(1)(biz = benzimidazole) and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,IR,TG and UV-vis absorption spectra.Compound 1 reveals monoclinic system,P-1space group and cell parameter a=13.5022(2),b=14.3651(2),c=14.9180(2),α=100.8000(10)°,β=90.5780(10)°,γ=115.0570(10)°,V=2561.72(7)~ 3,Z=2,R_1=0.0485,wR_2=0.0982.Meanwhile,compound 1 inveals good electrocatalytic activity for reduction of hydrogen peroxide.Additionally,compound 1 shows fluorescence photo-catalytic propertie in rhodanmine B organic dyes.
