氮素供应对植物根系生长发育的影响主要表现在四个方面:⑴局部供应硝酸盐对侧根伸长的刺激效应 ⑵植物组织中高浓度的硝酸盐对侧根分裂组织活动的抑制效应 ⑶根际高C:N比抑制侧根的发生 ⑷根际L-谷氨酸抑制初生根生长和刺激根分枝。本文就氮素供应对植物根系生长发育的影响及其信号传导机制的进展做一综述,分析了根对氮素供应的形态学适应的生理和生态意义。
The morphological adaptations of root system to N supply have been characterized: (1) a localized stimulatory effect of external nitrate on lateral root elongation; (2) a systemic inhibitory effect of high tissue nitrate concentrations on the activation of lateral root meristems; (3) a suppression of lateral root initiation by high C:N ratios; and (4) an inhibition of primary root growth and stimulation of root branching by external L-glutamate. Here, physiological and ecological significance of root morphological adaptations to the N supply was explained, and the recent progresses of the field were reviewed.
