To illuminate the determination mechanism of community-of-practice （COP） net- work structure, this article combines the identity prominence theory and the social network theo- ry, and analyzes the multiple network structure of CoP members embedded from the relation strength and social status. Then, a theoretical model is proposed, and hypotheses that the net- work structure of personal relationship, experts and managers influence the network structure of CoPs are presented. Data and test hypotheses are collected. The countermeasures of CoP＇s establishment and management are then given.
