针对传统雷达分辨理论无法反映环境噪声和目标参数对MIMO雷达实际分辨能力的影响的问题,研究了基于统计分辨理论的宽带MIMO雷达角分辨力。建立了宽带MIMO雷达信号模型,将目标分辨问题等效为二元假设检验,利用广义似然比检验方法,推导了在给定虚警概率和检测概率时宽带MIMO雷达的统计角分辨力,分析了检验参数、信噪比、目标参数以及MIMO雷达发射波形参数和几何参数对分辨力的影响,得出与传统分辨理论相比更能反映雷达实际分辨能力的结果,可为雷达系统设计提供优化准则。
The angular resolution limit(ARL)for wideband MIMO radar based on the statistical resolution theory is presented due to the problem that the effects of noise and parameters of the target on the actual resolution ability of the MIMO radar couldn’t be reflected by the traditional resolution theory. The signal model of wideband MIMO radar is set up,then the resolution problem is modeled as a binary hypothesis test. The statistical angular resolution limit(SARL)for wideband MIMO radar which is based on the generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT)is derived when the probability of false alarm and the probability of detection are given. The influences of detection parameters,the signal to noise ratio(SNR), the parameters of target,the parameters of transmit waveforms and the geometry parameters of MIMO radar on the ARL are analyzed. And a better result that could reflect the actual resolution ability of radar compared with the traditional resolution theory is given,which could provide the optimization criterion for radar system design.
