MADS—box基因编码的蛋白为转录因子,在被子植物花发育调控中发挥关键作用。其中,PI-like基因主要调控花瓣和雄蕊的形成。利用3’-cDNA末端快速扩增技术,从人参花蕾中克隆得到1个PI-like基因,命名为PgPI。该基因的3’端序列长558bp,编码186个氨基酸,GC含量为41.9%。序列比对结果显示,PgPI与HhPI(Hedera helix,ADM88561)的相似度为87%。聚类分析结果表明,人参与洋常春藤的PI-like基因聚为一支,进化距离较其他物种近。
As transcriptional regulation factors, MADS-Box proteins play key roles in flower development of angiosperms. The PI-like genes control the identity of petals and stamens. A homologue of PI, designated as PgPI, was isolated from cultivar ginseng flower buds by rapid amplification of cD- NA ends (RACE). The partial cDNA sequence of PgPI gene was 558 bp in length, which encoded a protein of 186 amino acids. The GC content was 41.9%. The alignment showed that PgPI had a high similarity with HhPI (87%)(Hedera helix, ADM88561 ). The clustering analysis showed that PgPI and HhPI were in the same branch.
