蛇毒蛋白质结构和功能研究的平台建设

蛇毒作为重要的功能生物大分子资源库一直以来受到学术界及产业界的高度关注,很多重要且高效的药物及抑制剂来源于蛇毒组分,但由于组成复杂、丰度差异大,蛇毒中与特定生理功能相关的单一组分的研究工作进展一直非常缓慢。本研究组建立的集组分分离、生理功能快速筛查、结构与生化性质解析、细胞功能和电生理机制测定为一体的蛇毒蛋白质结构和功能研究平台,大大加速了这一研究过程并取得了丰硕研究成果。本文在简要介绍该平台技术组成的同时,扼要综述了近几年依托该平台完成的研究工作,希望能为学术界及产业界同行提供有益参考。

英文摘要:

As an important functional bio- macromolecules resource library,snake venom is highly concerned by researchers both from academia and industry. There are a lot of effective drugs and inhibitors derived from snake venom. However,because of the complex composition and abundance differences,the discovery of the single component venom protein associated with specific physiological function is very inefficient. To solve this problem,we established a research platform including high purity protein separation,rapid physiological functions screening,structural and biochemical properties determination,cell function and electrophysiological mechanism studies,which greatly accelerated the research process and has made fruitful research results. In this paper,we briefly describe the technology components of the platform,and give a brief overview of the research results relying on this platform.
