An experimentally feasible scheme to implement the optimal general 1→2 real state quantum cloning machine based on cavity QED was proposed. In our scheme, two of the three atoms simultaneously interact with a cavity field and they are driven hy classical fields. This scheme might be realized based on presented cavity QED techniques.
