Ming Diao was born in 1960. He is a professor in College of Information and Communication Engineering, Harbin Engineering University. He is a senior member of China Institute of Communication as well as a committee member of Chinese Society of Astronautics Professional Committee of Deep Space Exploration. He received his B.S. degree in radio technology from College of Information and Communication Engineering, Harbin Engineering University in 1982. He received M.S. degree in communication and information system from College of Information and Communication Engineering, Harbin Engineering University in 1987.
