Chemiluminescence reaction of phloroglucinol with potassium chlorate in the presence of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate（SDBS） as an enhancer is investigated.A new chemiluminescence method for the determination of phloroglucinol with flow injection technique is developed.The linear range for phloroglucinol is 0.010 μg/L～10 μg/L with a detection limit of 3.9×10-3 μg/L.The relative standard deviation is 3.4% for 1.0×10-2 μg/L phloroglucinol in 11 repeated measurements.This method has been used for the determination of the content of phloroglucinol in simulated water with satisfactory results.
