母禽的繁殖性能对蛋鸡生产以及整个肉鸡产业链均有着非常重要的影响力。锰作为相关功能酶的必需组成成分或重要激活成分,除了参与动物的生长发育、糖与脂肪代谢等活动,在维持生殖机能方面也有着重要作用。本文从母禽繁殖性能的神经内分泌调控途径入手,总结了锰在性激素的生物合成、中枢神经内分泌系统、蛋品质等方面的作用机制,探讨了不同形态锰的生物学活性差异,以期为锰在母禽(特别是产蛋期)的应用提供理论支持。
Reproduction performance is critical to the whole poultry production for layer and broiler. Manganese,as essential constitutional component or key cofactor for enzymes,participates in many phsiologcial activities,including growth,metabolism of carbohydrates and fat,etc. Manganese is also important to maintain reproductivity in mammals and birds. Here the neuroendocrine mechanism via which reproduction performance is regulated in female poultry was summarized. The regulatory mechanisms of manganese discussed involved in the biosynthesis of sex hormones,the neuroendocrine activity and egg quality. The functional differences betw een inorganic and organic manganese were also compared in the abovementioned aspects with an aim to elucidate the possible application of mangnese in female poultry,especially during laying period.
