In order to learn more about the biological diversity of the plateau swamp wetlands to provide scientific references, six domestic new records of ciliates collected from the plateau swamp wetlands in Gannan, Gansu province are described in this paper. These are Metopus gibbus, Oxytricha pseudosimilis, Oxytricha hymenostoma , Urosoma gigantea , Urosoma karini and Sterkiella quadrinucleatus.
