It has became a key issue in the construction of smart library to embed the resource recom- mendation service into the user＇s learning process dynamically and seamlessly, and provide user-centered intelligent services. This paper firstly analyzes the users＇ demands in the ubiquitous learning environments and related researches on embedded recommendation service, then explains the meaning and characteristics of the embedded recommendation services oriented to ubiquitous learning, and constructs the embedded rec- ommendation service model for ubiquitous learning, discusses its elements, system structure and safeguard mechanisms. The goal of this research is to provide users with comprehensive, interconnected, ubiquitous embedded recommendation services.
