Systemic inflammatory response syndrome（SIRS） can be caused by a variety of severe damages of the body.It is generally acknowledged that the body can＇ produce inflammatory mediators and cytotoxic after the invasion of infection or non-infection factors,causing tissue damage.It maybe develop into MODS or MOF.Recent studies have shown that viral infections can also cause SIRS or immune disorder similar to SIRS which can turn into MOF too.EV71 is one of the pathogens of severe hand,foot and mouth disease.A large number of studies have confirmed that EV71 can also lead to SIRS.From this perspective,immune dysfunction of hand,foot and mouth disease may occur,early intervention and treatment may lead to a good outcome.
