Incremental updating theory is a research hot spot in geographic information,but is rarely associated with cartography.With the geographic database-driven cartography,we can deal with the cartography of incremental updating information based on fundamental geographic information database.We study its mechanism from the following aspects： ground state inheriting,incremental model extension,graphics（annotation） output control,geoprocessing tools,classified pretreatment for incremental representation,graphics conflict management,and give Geodatabase data model based on the specific ways.
