The paper implements the Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State specified by DICOM Supplement 33, and proposes a new improved algorithm. According to the internal characters of sub process of grayscale transform, the algorithm uses bresenham algorithm to build look up table for linear mapping. The algorithm can display real-time DICOM medical images under the condition of continuously adjusting window values of them, and promotes the doctor＇s customer experience significantly.
