在反向注入辅助光的条件下对基于半导体光放大器(SOA)中交叉增益调制(XGM)的全光波长转换进行了研究,分析了该方案中转换信号的眼图消光比、信噪比与所注入辅助光的功率、波长之间的关系.实验结果表明,注入适当功率和波长的辅助光后,转换信号的眼图信噪比可提高6~10dB,明显改善了转换信号眼图的质量,降低了系统的误码率,提高了系统的灵敏度.
All optical wavelength conversion(AOWC) based on cross-gain modulation(XGM) in a semi-conductor optical amplifier(SOA) with assist light injection is demonstrated.The experiment shows that with less reduction of ER(1~2 dB),the SNR of detected signal can be largely im-proved(6~10 dB),so the eyegraph s quality of detected signal and the sensitivity of the system can be improved and the system BER will be reduced slightly.
