His research interests include analysis and design for wireless sensor network （WSN） and delay tolerant network （DTN）. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Tsinghua University in 1994. His current research interests include computer networks, performance evaluation, and Petri net theory and its applications. He is a CCF member and the director of several committees of CCF. His research area is in computer network and media streaming, especially for architecture design and analytical modeling for P2P media streaming system. He is a CCF student member.
