Existing emulators either have bad expansibility or are designed for certain protocols. In order to overcome these disadvantages, a kind of tactical Ad Hoc network emulator was designed and developed which provided emulation environment to emulate data transmission characteristics of packet radio network and provided a debugging platform which did not relate to any wireless protocols and had good expansibility, The test of the function and performance of the emulator was given, The results show that this emulator has correct function and accurate performance.
