Hsa-miR-29 family, an significant miRNA, acts as a tumor suppressor in most malignant tumors. It inhibits tumor proliferation, differentiation, invasion and metastasis by up-regulating the expression levels of tumor suppressor genes and regulating several tumor-related signaling pathways. Hsa-miR-29 family is not only expected to become a new target for malignant tumor therapy, but also has a vital role in clinic diagnosis and prognosis of tumors.
