In the actual fingerprint storehouse, statistics show that ideal bimodal threshold value cannot be found, and the characteristic of single-peak histograms can be generally found in digital fingerprints, the change of threshold value will influence the keeping degree of the quantity of fingerprint characteristic directly. Even though the pretreatment to the fingerprint image choose better threshold value before binarization, the characteristic especially wrong characteristic of new arisen get by image strengthened will influence the discernment of fingerprint identification directly. According to methods of evaluating, so effects of binarization processing to the fingerprint characteristics are different.
