Salicylic acid （SA） which is a kind of phenolic compounds not only induces plants to resist to biological stress of pathogenic bacteria but also involves in the response of plants against abiotic stress. This paper mainly states about the role and mechanism of SA against abiotic stress in the plant nearly 10 years.
