Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease which can attack multi-joint and may affect multi-system.The participation of a variety of cytokines plays extremely vital role in the pathogenesis of RA.Th17 cell,as the latest discovered T cell subset,can secrete many cytokines like IL-17 which have been verified possessing the ability to induce serious autoimmune disease.The deficiency of Th17 cell can effectively alleviate or even treate autoimmune diseases.JAK / STAT signaling pathway,especially the STAT3 signaling pathway,is the significant positive feedback for the differentiation of Th17 cell.Consequently,to figure out the cellular differentiation and regulatory mechanism of Th17 cell and the positive feedback of STAT3 signaling pathway can point a span-new breakthrough direction to treat RA.
