This paper elaborates systematically the impacts of the sea reclamation to Lianyungang offshore water environment quality, wetland functions, biodiversity, fishery resources, and coastal landscapes, and further gives the protection countermeasures to control the harmful effects of sea reclamation to maritime ecological environment, in hope of providing reference for decisionmakers.
