在图像融合中,由于源图像的降质使得部分隐藏信息无法在融合过程中提取出来,影响了源图像的融合效果.针对这一问题,提出了一种基于小波增强的图像融合算法:在融合之前先对源图像进行适当的增强,突出图像中隐藏的信息,然后采用合适的规则对源图像和增强之后的图像进行融合.实验分析表明,在融合之前对源图像进行增强,能够改善图像融合的效果,获得直接融合难以获取的信息.
In image fusion,lowering the quality of source images makes part of the hidden information in them which can not be extracted in the fusion process,and will affect the fusion result of source images.To solve this problem,we propose a wavelet-enhanced image fusion algorithm.First,the source images should be enhanced appropriately to highlight the hidden information in them;then the appropriate rules are used to fuse the decomposed coefficients and the enhanced coefficients.Experimental results show that the enhancement of source images prior to fusion can improve the effect of image fusion,and obtain the hidden information which can not be obtained through direct fusion of source images.
