The main subject of this article is the scale, it elaborates on the measure of confirming early time architectural scale, the confirmation of standard ruler for each dynasty, and the evolvement of its absolute scale. On this basis, focusing on the confirmation of architectural ruler, the relationship between architectural ruler and standard ruler, and regional scale, as known as the vernacular ruler, deep study and discussion are made in this article, also, respective views of point are given on the using area, usage, and meaning of study for each regional ruler.
