Based on comprehensive analysis of the current semantic network, and with an investigation carried out for application in traditional Chinese medicine field and particularly in contents related to acupuncture, initial ideas of knowledge system and specific implementation plan for traditional acupuncture construction is proposed and practice is carried out on a small scale, which establishes the foundation for the construction of semantic network for whole traditional acupuncture knowledge system.
