通过循环伏安法、充放电实验、过充和可燃性实验、差示扫描量热法(DSC)测试分析对4-溴-2-氟苯甲醚(BFMB)用作锂离子电池电解液的新型双功能添加剂进行了研究.结果表明过充时BFMB在4.6 V发生电聚合反应生成聚合物膜,从而阻止了电压的升高.这种添加剂不仅可以降低电解液的可燃性,而且提高了锂离子电池的热稳定性.对锂离子电池的正常循环性能基本没有影响.因此,这种添加剂可以用作锂离子电池双功能电解液添加剂,达到过充保护和阻燃双重效果.
4-bromo-2-fluoromethoxybenzene (BFMB) was used as a novel bi-functional electrolyte additive for lithium-ion batteries and studied by cyclic voltammetry,charge-discharge measurements,overcharge and flammability tests,differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis.The results show that the additive can electrochemically polymerize at 4.6 V (vs.Li/Li+) to form a polymer film,preventing the voltage rise when overcharging.The additive can lower the flammability of the electrolyte and enhance the thermal stability of the lithium-ion batteries.The additive does not influence the normal cycle performance of lithium-ion batteries.Thus,it is possible to be used as bi-functional electrolyte additive to provide overcharge protection and fire retardancy for lithium-ion batteries.
