除大气外,海洋对Chandler摆动具有重要的激发作用.利用Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean(ECCO)的海洋环流模式提供的流速场和洋底压力场资料,首次系统地研究了1980-2005年期间,太平洋、印度洋和大西洋对Chandler摆动激发的贡献.
The global oceans play important roles in Chandler Wobble excitation other than the atmosphere. This study investigate systemically the excitations of the Chandler Wobble by the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic Oceans, based on the output data of ocean current velocity field and ocean bottom pressure field from the ocean circulation model of the "Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean (ECCO)" during I980--2005. The result shows that the three oceans make different contributions to Chandler Wobble excitation. The mean energy of Chandler Wobble excitation by the Pacific Ocean is the highest one among three oceans and it can provide about 22.2% of the observed mean energy of the Chandler Wobble excitation. The Indian and Atlantic contributions are about 12.7% and 7.1% of the observed mean energy of the Chandler Wobble excitation respectively. The strong 1982--1983 ENSO phenomena may increase the mean energy of the Chandler Wobble excitation by the Pacific Ocean significantly.
