病原体在长期进化中形成多种策略以利于自身增殖,进而导致多种疾病。这些策略包括干扰宿主免疫反应、调控细胞周期与凋亡等。近年来,人们越来越关注病原体通过干扰宿主细胞周期致病的机制,有助于更好了解病原体与宿主的相互作用。本文综述了病原体引起宿主细胞周期停滞在不同时期的机制,特别是一些细菌分泌毒力因子引起宿主细胞周期紊乱并导致疾病的机制。深入研究病原体对宿主细胞周期的影响及方式,可进一步揭示其致病机制,对疾病治疗及新药研制有潜在价值。
Evolution for millions of years has allowed microbial pathogens to develop specific strategies to manipulate host cell functions for their own benefit.Many of these measures involve interference with host immune responses,regulation of host cell cycle,and/or induction of programmed cell death.There has been remarkable progress in the understanding of how microbial pathogens interfere with the host cell cycle and their putative role in disease.Here,we review the mechanisms of some pathogenic microorganisms that have been shown to arrest host cell cycle at different phases,in particular,pathogenic bacteria that deliver effector proteins into host cells to modulate the host function.Therefore,further research on the mechanisms of the host cell cycle as manipulated by pathogenic microorganisms can serve to understand host-pathogen interactions and their role in pathogenesis,which may be useful for the development of new drug targets and/or vaccine candidates.
