本文研究了球不变随机向量杂波背景下的距离扩展目标检测问题.给出了修正的距离扩展目标检测器MSDD,推导了相应的虚警概率与检测阈值的解析表达式.MSDD需要事先估计目标散射点个数,而散射点个数估计失配时会出现严重的信杂比损失,针对这一问题,利用有序数据方差估计散射点个数,提出了ODV-MSDD检测器.仿真结果表明,ODV-MSDD对目标所占距离窗的大小具有很好的鲁棒性,并且其检测性能随着目标散射点个数、阵元数以及杂波尖峰的增加而提高.与MSDD相比,ODV-MSDD能根据实际观测数据自适应地估计散射点个数,有效提高检测器性能,增强系统的鲁棒性.
This paper addresses range-spread target detection in spherically invariant random vector clutter.The modified scatterer density dependent(MSDD)detector is introduced,and the analytic expression relating false alarm probability to detection threshold is deduced.MSDD need to estimate the number of scatterers,and its performance degradation gracefully when there is a mismatch.To improve the robustness of MSDD,a detector based on ordered data variability(ODV)is proposed.The results show that ODV-MSDD is robust for various target range extent,and its detection performance is improved when increasing the number of scatterers,sensors and spiky of the clutter.Compared with the MSDD,ODV-MSDD estimates the number of scatterers adaptively,and it can improve performance and robustness of detector effectively.
