利用 X射线衍射和电子探针实验方法来研究塔北隆起三叠系新近系的砂岩和粉砂岩中粘土矿物的分布特征及绿泥石的成分,获得了以下认识:(1)研究区存在三种粘土矿物组合类型:R0 I/S+I+Chl、Ka+Chl+I、I+Chl.绿泥石多型为Ⅱb型,根据绿泥石成分分为辉绿泥石和铁镁绿泥石.(2)研究区粘土矿物的纵向分布及绿泥石成分的变化与成岩作用的关系不是非常密切.利用岩石地球化学方法,结合区域地质构造演变史,获得影响本区粘土矿物组合纵向分布特征的主要因素是构造地质环境、沉积物源和古环境.研究结果显示,当层位处在构造活动强烈,物源区未经历强烈风化,沉积物为快速堆积,古气候为半干旱至干旱的环境时,形成的粘土矿物组合主要为R0 I/S+I+Chl;当层位处在构造地质环境稳定,物源区强烈风化,沉积物经历了一定的搬运后再沉积,并为湿润的古气候时,形成的粘土矿物组合主要为Ka+Chl+I.
The research on clay minerals is an important way to solve some fundamental geological problems since it can sensitively reflect the geochemical environment of basin sediments and diagenesis.The formation,transformation and disappearance of clay minerals are complex geological processes these are controlled by many kinds of geological factors.For the continental sedimentary basins,the distribution of the clay minerals is the result of the interaction among the ancient environment,the diagenesis,the sources of the sediments,and etc.However,some of the factors have more influence on the distribution of the clay minerals than the others.All the factors that affected the distribution of clay minerals are related to the tectonic setting of the sedimentary basins and tectonic developmentnbsp;history.Tectonic movement is the most important controller to the sedimentation.The distribution of clay minerals is acting as an important record in response to these factors.The purpose of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of the clay mineral assemblages in different depths and different strata of Tabei Uplift,and to explore the main factors affecting the distribution of clay minerals in this area.The analysis has been done on the following two aspects:1 .By using X-ray diffraction and electron microprobe methods to study the distribution characteristics of the clay minerals and chlorite composition in the sandstone and siltstone of Tabei uplift from Triassic to Neogene, the following understandings have been obtained.(1)There are three types of clay mineral assemblages in the studied area:R0 I/S+I+Chl,Ka+Chl+I,and I+Chl.The chlorites belong to typeⅡb.According to the chlorite components,they can be defined as diabantite and brunsvigite.(2)The vertical distribution of the clay minerals and the variances in chlorite compositions in the area are not very closely related to their diagenesis.2.By using the rock geochemical method along with regional geological tectonic evolution history,it is re
