英文摘要：

Based on literature review and industrial cluster characteristics, the paper examines the mechanism of how firm＇ s openness influences its innovation performance. 116 firms in three industrial clusters in Zhejiang Province have been selected as survey samples for empirical studies. The findings are as follows ： first, cluster firms＇ innovation performance is influenced by the openness with knowledge acquisition as a mediating role; second, absorptive capacity plays a moderating role in different innova- tion performing stages： the potential absorptive capacity has a negative moderating effect between openness and knowledge acqui- sition, and the realized absorptive capacity is beneficial to the firms which transform knowledge into innovation performance. Third, the higher the network centrality, the more significant the positive effect on open width of cluster firms to knowledge acqui- sition.
